Jesus

Praise God from whom all blessings flow

Praise Him all creatures here below,

Praise Him all ye heavenly hosts

Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

The Blood Of Jesus

(my words sung to the hymn-There Is A Green Hill Far Away )

There is a fount at Calvary

A fount that knows no bounds

It is the fount of Christ’s dear blood*

Let all earth’s praise resound.

No other sacrifice can save

Or heal, bring change, give rest,

Only the sacrifice of blood

Christ’s blood alone can bless.

There is a fount at Calvary

Come to the Cross and kneel

Jesus is waiting there for you

Your every pain He feels.

No other sacrifice makes whole,

Protects, provides restores,

Only the blood of Jesus Christ

Makes all His blessings yours.

There is a fount at Calvary

Deliverance there is yours,

Miracles come to pass for you

All things in Christ are ours.

First chorus

All things that are impossible

Are possible through Him,

In love and power, and wisdom too

He watches over you.

Second chorus

( *the Blood of Jesus Christ, Saviour of the world )

I shall not want… JEHOVAH-JIREH, God is my Provider.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters…JEHOVAH- SHALOM, God is my Peace.

He restoreth my soul… JEHOVAH-RAPHA, God is my Healer.

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake… JEHOVAH-TSIDKENU, the Lord our Righteousness, Jer.23:5-6, meaning a covenant relationship of righteousness with God.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, yet will I fear no evil, for thou art with me, Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me…JEHOVAH-

OTHER NAMES OF GOD

El- SHADDAI– God Is All Powerful. ELOHIM– Creator God. El Elyon- God Most High. ADONAI– Lord, Master, Owner. 1 Cor.6:19-20

We should be more diligent to serve God as our Adonai, than to call on Him as Jehovah-Jireh or Jehovah-Rapha. When we do we shall automatically and through answered prayer find Him as our Provider and Healer. God is saying- I am all this to you, according to the meanings of my names. I have many names because I am so vast and unfathomable that you cannot begin to grasp who I am by just one name.

God the Son is revealed to us throughout the bible, from Genesis to Revelation. In the Old Testament Jesus Christ is called the Commander of the

Lord’s army, the refiner’s fire, the arm of the Lord; yet He is also a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, and a servant. “And He will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isa. 9:6

In the New Testament, Jesus is called Messiah, Teacher, Master and Advocate. He is the head of the Church, heir of all things, chief cornerstone, and a horn of salvation. In the gospel of John , Jesus describes Himself as the bread of life, the Light of the world, the gate for the sheep, the good Shepherd, the Resurrection and the Life, the Way, the Truth and the Life and the true Vine.

In Revelation, Jesus is the Living One, the Alpha and the Omega, the Amen, the Lamb of God, the Word of God, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,

and the bright Morning Star.
